Al Jazeera Marine Services Co LLC (AJMS) was founded in Sharjah in the late 1980’s as a logistical support base for its parent company in Al Jazeera Shipping Co. W.L.L in the Kingdom of Bahrain. With the development boom taking place in the UAE from the 1990’s onwards, AJMS expanded its presence with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Hamriyah Free Zone. AJMS’s modern fleet of Tug Boats, Barges and Offshore marine equipment supports the offshore construction, dredging, and Oil & Gas industries in developing much of the offshore infrastructure in the UAE.
Today, Al Jazeera Marine Services Co. LLC is strategically located to cater to the needs of the offshore industries with a large fleet of vessels and barges stationed and operating in the UAE and highly experienced management and crew.
The company’s vessels are manned in accordance with the National Maritime Conventions requirements and conform to the International Maritime Standards and the Classification Societies requirements at all times. AJS is also a registered member of The Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO).
